Phase One -
Your artwork must be submitted in digital format, but your work can be a picture or painting, a physical creation, anything that you feel showcases your creative skills and scope of imagination. We want to see what you would contribute to this competition and hear why you are one of the unique creative minds of tomorrow. In order to submit your entry; please see the Register tab at the top of this page and follow the instructions.
In Phase Two,
100 submissions will be collectively accepted. Once you have been notified that you have made it through to Phase Two; you can start preparing your ideas. You will then be sent a blank canvas 59Fifty cap, video camera, and art supplies (the camera and supplies are yours to keep) with the direction to express yourself and transform the 59FIFTY into a distinctive work of art. Once you have received your New Era 59FIFTY; you will have two weeks to finish your final creation, capture the creative process, and return your work to New Era US.
80 Phase Two submissions will be selected to exhibit in a traveling gallery experience that will stop in each of the participating countries. These pieces will also be showcased in a limited edition New Era Introducing Book. One piece of work will be awarded a $10,000 grant to launch the artist's creative career.
